London Rapper Jeshi Explores Club Culture and Dance Music on New Mixtape 'Headrush'

Published October 26, 2026

London rapper Jeshi has officially launched his latest mixtape, titled 'Headrush', released through Select Discs and Partisan Records. Designed as a direct tribute to nightlife and the clubbing environments where he was first introduced to dance music as an underage teenager, the project captures the emotional spectrum of late-night clubbing.

The 12-track project mixes themes of hedonism and rave-inspired euphoria, mapping out both the energetic peaks of early morning hours and the subdued comedowns that follow. The collection features the brand-new single 'PSYCHO!' alongside previously released cuts including the title track, 'champagne', 'at the wheel', and 'linea rossa', which features Cameo Blush.

Reflections on Club Culture

“I’d go from Walthamstow to Essex and it felt like I’d been teleported into another world,” Jeshi recalled regarding his formative clubbing experiences at age 17. “The over-the-topness of the clubs felt so exciting to my 17-year-old brain. There was a freedom then where you didn’t need to know the right records or be part of the right scene.”

“I was DJing at friends’ parties a lot but wanted to bridge these two loves of mine and create a space between them,” he added. “To make songs and put my life into them the same way I always had, but then be able to play them out straight away in rooms full of people. I love the immediateness of it.”
