Motionless in White Members Join Season 4 Launch of Paranormal Prison
Ricky Olson and Vinny Mauro step inside the infamous Ohio State Reformatory for a ghost investigation alongside hosts Josh Bernstein and Katrina Weidman.
The fourth season of Paranormal Prison has officially kicked off, featuring Motionless in White guitarist Ricky Olson and drummer Vinny Mauro. The duo joined show hosts Josh Bernstein (The Power Hour, Z2) and Katrina Weidman (Portals to Hell) for a ghost tour inside one of the world's most renowned haunted locations.
Filmed at the historic Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio, during the 2026 Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival—a Danny Wimmer Presents event—the show pairs believers and skeptics using high-tech gear to capture potential supernatural activity.
Inside the Investigation
The group began their walkthrough in the prison's decaying "toilet room," an abandoned section containing dirt-covered, uninstalled commodes and old furniture.
During the tour, Weidman explained the mechanics of a spirit box, a device engineered to detect spiritual interference within radio frequencies. Olson noted that he is already accustomed to using the technology during personal investigations with his girlfriend, sharing that spirits frequently alter the conversation away from direct queries.
Audio captures from the device included phrases such as "relationship," "stay in the next room," "...that I'm here," "Oh, they're coming," and "I'm with you."
Skeptics & Personal Encounters
Mauro, an admitted skeptic, inquired whether the resident spirits approved of their presence in the room—a question answered negatively through the equipment. The drummer appeared visibly unnerved by the interaction.
Olson also revealed the childhood event that sparked his ongoing interest in the paranormal, telling the hosts: "When I was 7 or 8 years old, I woke up to a little boy in my room. It scared the life out of me."
