Blake Shelton Mockingly Labels Luke Bryan’s Nashville Venue Empty as Country Stars Trade Playful Jabs
Nashville Broadway Business Rivalry
The lighthearted rivalry between country music icons Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan has reignited, turning the spotlight toward their respective establishments situated along Lower Broadway in downtown Nashville.
Rooftop Roast on Broadway
Located directly across the street from one another, Shelton’s Ole Red at 300 Broadway and Bryan’s Luke’s 32 Bridge sit in the heart of downtown Nashville. Shelton sparked the latest round of banter while filming a video from the rooftop of Ole Red. In the clip, Shelton pointed out that he rarely gets to take in the views from the roof because he is usually performing on the ground-level stage when visiting his venue.
Intending to show he was a "team player," Shelton began highlighting neighboring spots owned by fellow artists, including venues belonging to Jason Aldean and Post Malone's Posty's. However, upon turning his focus toward Luke’s 32 Bridge, Shelton poked fun at the empty rooftop space.
“Oh look, there’s Luke Bryan’s bar. That’s weird. There’s nobody there. Ghost Town USA. What a loser.”

Luke Bryan Fires Back
Bryan quickly noticed the video and left a sarcastic comment under Shelton's post, writing, “Clearly you’re so old you go to the bar at 10am.”
Shortly afterward, the "Fish Hunt Golf Drink" singer took the retaliation a step further by posting a video of his own filmed from inside a vehicle driving past Ole Red. Bryan captured a brief clip of Shelton’s bar sign and remarked:
“Food poisoning, here we come.”
With a deep history of exchanging humorous insults online and in public, the latest back-and-forth between the two friends confirms that their long-standing playful feud remains fully active on Lower Broadway.
