New details have emerged surrounding the divorce filing between Summer Pardi and country singer Jon Pardi, as well as a major family health update shared around the same time.
Court records outline the timeline of the legal filing in Tennessee alongside personal updates from the family.
Divorce Filing Timeline and Joint Statement
Legal records indicate that Summer Pardi officially filed for divorce from Jon Pardi in Davidson County, Tennessee, on May 12, 2026. The complaint was formally served to Jon the following day, on May 13, 2026.
Hours after the legal filing unfolded, the couple issued a joint statement confirming the end of their marriage:
“After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. Our daughters will always remain our highest priority, and we are committed to moving forward with love and respect as co-parents.”
The couple originally met through a mutual connection in 2017 and married in 2020. They share two daughters together: Presley Fawn, age 3, and Sienna Grace, age 2.
Family Health Update: Larry Duncan's Diagnosis
Less than 24 hours prior to publicly announcing the split, Summer shared news regarding her father, Larry Duncan, revealing that he had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma.
Summer reposted a message from her father on her Instagram Stories, writing:
“A little life update on my dad... I know everyone on here loves him dearly, even those who don't know him personally. He's a special guy, and he's gonna kick cancer's ass,”
Duncan explained in his original post that he initially sought medical attention following a back injury sustained in a tractor accident. Persistent pain over several months led doctors to discover bone fractures and bulging discs. Subsequent testing confirmed a diagnosis of multiple myeloma, a blood cancer that develops in plasma cells inside the bone marrow and weakens bones over time.
