Bachman-Turner Overdrive Announce Winter 2027 U.S. Tour
Bachman-Turner Overdrive (BTO) are staying active into 2027. The famous Canadian rock band, with founding guitarist and singer Randy Bachman in charge has shared an U.S. Tour called the “No Speed Limit Tour ” bringing the band’s lasting rock songs to places like theaters performing arts centers, casinos and music venues all over the country.
The tour is set to start January 7 2027 at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida. Will go on until March 20 in Carlton, Minnesota with more than two dozen shows already confirmed.
A New Chapter for a Classic Rock Band
The upcoming tour comes after a time for Randy Bachman, who spent part of 2026 traveling with former Guess Who member Burton Cummings. Now Bachman is focusing again on BTO for a celebration of the bands music.
The "No Speed Limit Tour" also happens during a time for Bachman-Turner Overdrive. The current group has Randy Bachman along with his son Tal Bachman on guitar, daughter-in-law KoKo Bachman on drums, bass player Lance Lapointe. Guitarist Brent Knudsen.
The band’s recent tour announcement says the updated group is playing both the songs fans love and some hidden tracks from the BTO collection.
The Hits Are Returning to the Stage
For rock fans a BTO show means hearing some of the most important songs from the 1970s classic rock era.
The bands live set will include songs such as:

- “You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet”
- “Let It Ride”
- “Roll on Down the Highway”
These songs helped BTO become one of the known rock groups of their time and they are still a main part of the bands live performances.

The planned schedule covers Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, Arizona, California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia, Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas and Minnesota.
From Florida to the Midwest
The start of the tour gives fans in the Southeast a chance to see BTO with stops in Orlando, Clearwater, Naples, Jacksonville, Montgomery and Biloxi before the band moves west.
The California dates include shows in Thousand Oaks, Indio, Cerritos and Modesto. Later BTO will travel through the Northeast and Midwest including a stop at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium** on March 10. The Ryman has already added the show to its schedule.
The tour will end in Minnesota on March 20.
Tickets and Presales
Tickets differ by location with several dates starting sales on August 26 2026 followed by local early sales and regular sales in the following days.
For example the show in Thousand Oaks has a sale starting August 26 while the regular sale is set for August 28. The Montgomery show follows a schedule with early and VIP sales starting August 26 and the regular sale scheduled for August 28.
Each venue might have ticket dates so fans should check the venue they are interested in for the most up-to-date details before planning.

Why the 2027 Tour Is Important
There is something about calling this tour the “No Speed Limit Tour.” BTO’s music has always been about moving highway ideas, working-class energy, big guitar sounds and songs meant to be played loud.
